Title | Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to the Right Honourable Viscount Dillon, President of the Society of Antiquaries |
Date | 11 July 1899 |
Description | Mr Norman's letter of the 6th has been laid before the President and Council who think that, pending the receipt of an official reply from the Lords of Treasury to the representations jointly made to them by the Society of Antiquaries and the Royal Society on the subject of the encroachments of the Royal Academy into the quadrangle, the time has not arrived for a further joint representation on the subject, but the President and Council have given power to the Officers during the recess to take any action they may deem advisable in the matter. |
