Description | Harrison's letters of 28th July and 15th August, expressing the wish of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society to be represented on the Joint Committee established by the Royal Society and the Royal Geographical Society for promoting an expedition to the Antarctic, were laid before the President and Council of the Royal Society. After full consideration they regret that they cannot see their way to increasing the Joint Committee by a special representative of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society, on this the Royal Geographical Society agree. |
