TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Joseph Larmor, Secretary of the Royal Society
Date23 May 1902
DescriptionMarconi has dropped out again, so he has been taken off of the list which Harrison has sent to the printers. Beilby now comes first on the list, and Harrison has sent Larmor's letter to Beilby and kept a copy.

Regrets that it is too late to add a name to those submitted for nomination for Foreign Membership at the next Council, but they may consider it if Larmor gets permission himself.

Enquires if Professor Gray read an additional note on 'The Effects of a Magnetic Field on the Viscosity of Magentisable Liquids'.

Professor Milne sent a letter, enclosing an application from Dr Robertson to be sent out on the Volcano Commission [to St Vincent island]. There are already two people set, [John Smith] Flett and Dr Tempest Anderson.

[Robert Bellamy] Clifton seems to have misunderstood that Ramage's paper has been passed for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', and says he has written to Larmor to suggest referees. Wishes he would send communications to Harrison first, as this stops any timewasting.
