TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor to, The Director-General of Stores, India Office, Whitehall, S.W.
Date28 April 1903
DescriptionTheir letter together with the specifications and drawings relating to the Kodaikanal Observatory have been carefully considered by the Observatories Committee, who consulted Mr Michie Smith on the matter. They have come to the conclusion that there must have been a misunderstanding with regard to the purport of their letter of 23 January 1902, paragraph two, which was intended to cover the provision of an instrument for bringing any part of the sun's limb on to the slit of the spectrograph. The Committee trust the apparatus will now be supplied.
