Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Sir William Preece, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 15 June 1903 |
Description | The Physics Committee have taken expert advice about the publication of Mr Williams' notes but as regards the second [part], which is very expensive, the verdict is unanimously negative, it being very slight and inconclusive and not adding much if at all to knowledge. The reports on the fixed feet are not so adverse. Assumes the Council would assent to printing the first part if it were modified so as to omit the diagrams, or Preece may prefer to withdraw the papers. |
