Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary, Royal Society |
Date | 7 December 1903 |
Description | Sends two unopened letters which came this morning and a letter and enclosure from Sir W Thiselton-Dyer which, being addressed to Geikie as Secretary, Harrison opened [no enclosures]. Queries if he may continue this practice.
Sir M Foster was at the Society this morning and discusses with Geikie a letter, a copy of which Sir W Dyer has sent Geikie. Sir Dyer seems to have forgotten what passed at the recent meeting of the Advisory Committee, when practically all the things which he now suggests were done by the Committee, and the document that was to be circulated for the Committee's approval was the Committee's report to the India Office, and this is now going round. |
