| Description | Hopkinson's paper 'Magnetic and Other Physical Properties of Iron at a High Temperature' has been voted for 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', and they can proceed with the printing if he can spare the manuscript. The duplicate manuscript will be sent to Hopkinson as soon as it is returned by the referees, but Rix states it would be 'a pity' to delay publication for that reason, which is why they request the loan of the original manuscript. |
