TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Henry Charlton Bastian, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date10 March 1905
DescriptionThere appears some objection to the title of Bastian's paper as assuming the disputed question which has to be proved. It is suggested that in the announcement of the paper for next week the title might better be, 'On the appearance of certain ciliate Infusoria in the eggs of the Rotifer Hydatma'. If any alteration is made it must be done at once so as to go into the ordinary public and official announcements.
