Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to [Edwin Ray] Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 10 May 1905 |
Description | At a meeting of the Zoology Sectional Committee yesterday, the reports of the two referees on Bastian's paper were read and the recommendation that the abstract be printed in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' was about to be agreed to when J J Lister produced a paper from 'Bulletin de l'Académie des sciences de Cracovie' of October 1901 by M Przesmycki in which observations are recorded that seem to bear closely on those of Bastian, but which he does not appear to have seen. Lister was to see Sedgwick about the matter at once and Harrison was to request Lankester to look over the paper also and see if it in any way affects his report on Bastian's paper. |
