Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Bernacchi |
Date | 7 March 1907 |
Description | Glad to hear that he has completed the reduction of the 'Discovery's' Pendulum Observations. Thinks the proper course would be to send the manuscript to Geikie to be registered as officially received, and then submitted to the most competent man in gravity work. This could be Dr Charles Chree or Sir George Darwin. Chree has been more closely connected to other parts of the 'Discovery' work. If he will send the panorama of winter quarters[?], Geikie will see that it goes with the other illustrations. |
