Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie to Professor J [John] Milne |
Date | 19 May 1908 |
Description | 'Dear Milne, Thanks for your note. We should be glad to have the proofs of the Antarctic work at your convenience. I propose to print off as soon as possible the physical volume in which the seismic [?] are to be given. The Seismological Committee of the Royal Society in the spring of 1905 advised the Council to recommend to the government that this county should join the International Seismological Association for a limited period and on certain conditions. The Council agreed and recommended accordingly and the stipulations were, I believe, adopted by the Government.' |
