| Date | 29 July 1908 |
| Description | The Observatories Committee of the Royal Society at their meeting this afternoon had under consideration the report of the Director of the Maharaja Takhtasingji Observatory, Poona, for the period 1 April to 31 December. With reference to paragraph five of the report, the Committee thinks it is not desirable that the long-continued series of eye observations of the twelve most widened lines in suns-pot spectra in the regions D to F should be interrupted for the present time. The Committee made no remarks on the other paragraphs. |
