TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Joseph Larmor, Secretary of the Royal Society
Date13 August 1908
DescriptionProfessor Augustus Edward Hough Love recommends that Richardson's paper on 'The Solution of various differential equations by Arithmetical finite differences', which has been revised, for publication practically in full in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. He states that this is pioneering work and cannot be judged by too high a standard. However paper needs revision of a verbal character and to correct a point made about the potential energy of a bent plate.
