| Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor [Joseph] Larmor, Secretary of the Royal Society |
| Date | 7 December 1908 |
| Description | 'A paper by Baly and others. "Electrical forces of mitosis". Your letter to Professor Farmer and two from Professor Oliver received this morning. I find however Prof Farmer was the first referee on this paper and gave an adverse report which you have seen. In these circumstances I presume I am right in holding back you letter to him and letting the matter stand where it was placed by your letter of Saturday to Sir William Ramsay asking for an abstract. I am sending a line to Prof Oliver to explain the situation/' |
