TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie to Captain R F Scott, RN, CVO
Date11 December 1908
DescriptionGeikie has been waiting in hope that Scott has decided to change his course of actions [against Dr Shaw]. Geikie did not reply to Scott's last letter because did not raise any essentially new points. Geikie has decided to submit the whole case to the judgement of one who, from the scientific view is thoroughly competent, and who at the same time being a brother office of Scott's , would be disposed to be at least perfectly fair to him.
