TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to A L Sofer, City & Guilds Institute, Gresham College, Finsbury
Date26 June 1890
DescriptionRix wonders if Mr Nullwood, E Scott's[?] 'woodsman' came to give the estimate for binding the manuscript, whether he saw the bundles as made up ready for binding, or whether he saw only the bound volumes. Rix also asks which volume he took away with him as a pattern. They wish to clarify the basis on which the estimate was given so they can judge whether they are at liberty to make any alteration in the composition of the parcels, or whether they are tied by contract to the parcels as at present arranged.
