DescriptionSending herewith a manuscript of a paper by Professor Hector Monro Macdonald on 'The Diffraction of Electric Waves' at the request of the Chairman of the Mathematics Sectional Committee and of the Secretary, who wish to obtain Hobson's opinion as referee with regard to the suitability of the paper for publication by the Royal Society. A printed form of report is enclosed with the paper for use in recording their opinion. It is being sent on the understanding that he examines it at once [no enclosures].
