Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Sir William Ramsay, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 1 December 1910 |
Description | The Physics and Chemistry Committee were informed that Ramsay would be willing to have the superfluities cut of of Burt and Usher's paper. They decided that subject to this shortening it could proceed, without requiring their previous drastic abbreviation. Larmor trusts that some attention will be paid to the suggestions for some very obvious improvements made by a referee on the manuscript, which the authors have simply ignored. They are under great obligation for the criticisms made, which would enable various dark places to made intelligible. |
