It was read last Thursday, and now I have been requested by Sir J Larmor, Secy, to write to the author to the effect expressed in the enclosed letter, which perhaps you will be good enough to send on to him. It is in accordance with the precedent that a communication of this kind should be made through the communicator of the paper.' |
