Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Duke [of Northumberland] |
Date | 26 June 1912 |
Description | Sending the two lists of delegates and Fellows who have intimated their desire to attend his garden party [no enclosures]. Also sending a list of Fellows who not having either a wife or a daughter, would like to bring the relatives placed against their names. A similar list is being sent to Chamberlain. In most cases the sister or mother lives with the Fellow, and Geikie can quite understand their desire to bring them into the circle of festivity. |
