Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor C [Charles] S [Scott] Sherrington FRS |
Date | 18 April 1913 |
Description | 'I have been in communication with the Russian Embassy with the object of securing facilities for the entrance into Russia of yourself and the other delegates to the International Association, and have received the letter of which I enclose a copy. I imagine it is desirable that you should obtain your passport as soon as possible; and I shall be much obliged by your letting me know when you propose to start on the journal, in order that I may reply to the last paragraph of the letter. Vierjbolovo, otherwise, Wierzbolow, (German Wierballen) is the Customs Station on the direct route Berlin, Insterburg, St Petersburg, and in order to secure the advantages of the arrangements which the Embassy is making, it will be necessary for you to take your ticket by that route.' |
