Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Surgeon Atkinson |
Date | 2 June 1913 |
Description | At a meeting of the Mansion House Committee for the Captain [Robert Falcon] Scott Fund, the question of the sum to be set aside for the publication of the scientific results was under consideration. A small committee was formed to obtain as definite information as possible as to the different researches which will have to be provided for financially.
Asks whether it would be possible for him to be so good as to draw up a list of all divisions of the physical and biological work and the number of observers that will be employed in the working out and preparation of the publication of each division. It may not be possible to make ann accurate list, but Atkinson would probably be able to furnish such a list as would serve as the basis of an estimate of the cost. The sub-committee is to meet 6 June. |
