Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, [Royal Society] |
Date | 15 May 1891 |
Description | Rix has noticed that Dr Norman Collie's paper is down for next time, and enquires if he should put it into type.
Rayleigh will recall it was sent in for 'Proceedings of the Royal Society', but as it is a theoretical paper it was to be referred; the Committee did not reach it at their last meeting. Professor William Ramsay, the communicator, said it could not be put into an abstract much shorter than the paper, and so believes that if it is not set up as a whole paper, it should not be set up. Rix asks for Rayleigh's opinion on what to do. |
