Description'In answer to your letter which came while I was away from town, I beg leave to say that our Anniversary Dinner will certainly take place on November 30th, and that I see no reason to suppose that we shall hold it elsewhere than at the Whitehall Rooms. You may make a pencil note in your diary, & I will send you a definite answer as soon as my chiefs return to town'.
