Description'The question has arisen as to the publication of the short abstract of your paper on "Gaseous combustion at high pressures". The Standing Order provides that "In the case of papers accepted for publication in the Philosophical Transactions, the author shall be at liberty to furnish a short abstract for publication in the Proceedings"; and I shall be glad to know if you would like abstract you sent in in December last to appear in the Proceedings. The next number will not be published until July 1, and we hope that your full aper will appear about the middle of that month.'
