Description | Responding to a letter of the 10 December (154, 674/37) enquiring about Glassworkers' Cataract, advises they have been in touch with members of the former committee investigating this, and the present position is previous investigations following the last interim report were interrupted by the War, with all investigators called into war service. The Royal Society has decided there is still much useful work to be done on the subject and has reappointed the Committee, which will be called early in the New Year, and a precis of the work to date is being prepared for them along with a scheme of future work. Advises that when the Committee has met their views and suggestions will be laid before the Home Office. |
