Title | Copy letter from Sir William Bate Hardy, FRS, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr Cransten Walker |
Date | 4 February 1920 |
Description | Advises he has now received an opinion from a physicist on the paper of Dr Cransten Walker, and this agrees with his own previous assessment. This physicist advises if Dr Cransten Walker will consult himself with a physicist familiar with the theory of elasticity, all of the first section could be reduced to just a few pages, and this would enable him to develop the biological application of his theory. Advises he has not formerly submitted it to the appropriate Committee to be considered for publication as he is sure it would be rejected in its current condition. |
