| Description | Foster has the honour to transmit three proof copies of the first Report of the Water Research Committee which the President and Council of the Royal Society have decided to publish in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The report is a complete review of present knowledge of the subject. The investigation is proceeding and Foster shall have the honour to communicate with Hooke as soon as the Committee are able to make a further report. If Hooke wishes for additional copies of the present report the Assistant Secretary can supply them as soon as they are received from the printers. |
