Description | In reply to the Messrs letter of 25 February, the Royal Society would be glad for the Messrs to make the necessary alterations in the circuits required for the new arrangement. Rix wonders if the annual payment of £5 would be necessary when the use of the battery is discontinued. Rix would also like to make some arrangement concerning the periodical cleaning of the Society's lamps. The general and occasional repairs and the necessary connections for the soiree experiments will remain in the Messrs hands as hitherto. The lamps Rix will order himself direct from the makers. Rix has written to the Treasurer regarding the holders. |
