Title | Copy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Walter [Morley] Fletcher, FRS |
Date | 22 March 1921 |
Description | Informs Sir Walter [Morley] Fletcher that the Society have received seventeen applications for the Tata Professorships so far, many of which do not seem qualified for the posts. Notes that Mr. [William Bate] Hardy was postponing writing to the Secretary of State on the matter until he had spoken to Sir Fletcher, and therefore suggests that the meeting of the Tropical Diseases Committee be postponed until Sir Fletcher is able to attend. |
