Description | Rix encloses two reports on Forsyth Major, and asks for instructions. He also notes that he has decided to decline Dr Ruffer's request, as Mr Kennedy and his wife are away and so there is no one to wait on the meeting; in addition, the carpets are up, and the alteration to the meeting-room will have been begun.
He also states that he has been unsuccessful in his attempt to get a second-hand copy of Buck's 'Handbook of Medical Sciences' as ordered by the Library Committee on 10 November 1892, and so asks if he should buy new copies of the eight volumes for 10 pounds. |
