TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to W G Earthy, Malpas Road, Truro
Date26 October 1893
DescriptionRix writes to inform Earthy of their decision, following his daughter's second month in the service of the Royal Society. He states that while her German is still very weak, she has made 'a definite degree of progress' which has reassured them that if she continues to study, she will meet the requirements of her work at the Society. Her engagement may therefore be considered confirmed, though she must not expect any sort of advancement until she is more proficient in German.
