In accordance with the inclosed request we shall at once send to the London Library the volumes of the "Philosophical Transactions" ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'] which are due to you; but if, as I understand, this is to be a standing order for future issues, I must trouble you to give me your signature to the form as I have amended it. The volumes are of considerable money value, and it is needful to have matters in proper form.
