Prof. [Professor Santiago Ramon y] Cajal has drawn the figures too large for "Proceedings" ['Proceedings of the Royal Society'], and, if they must all be reduced proportionally, I am afraid some of them will have to be re-drawn altogether; if, however, it does not matter about reducing them proportionally, I think we can just get them into the page. Will you let me know whether proportion^al reduction is necessary?
