Some letters to editors are present. A manuscript index appears at the end of the volume.
Generally, the cuttings are attributed to the source newspaper and dated in manuscript. The volume contains many blank pages - most cuttings have been pasted to the recto side only and the original manuscript pagination omits the blank verso pages. A paper label on the cover is inscribed: 'Royal Society Biographical Scrap-Book. Oct. 24, 1892 to May 8, 1894. Indexed.' |
