| Description | Large format exhibition listings for Royal Society displays at the events known as 'conversaziones' or 'soirees'. These lists were presumably intended to be posted in and around the Society's rooms at Burlington House and were superceded by the more conventional hand-held programmes and catalogues listed at PC/3. Generally the exhibits are presented in groups separated by underlining; this may reflect the room-by-room arrangement of display items. Later posters have some specified rooms. Two per year, with the exception of 1868 - there is no poster for April of that year. |
