DescriptionBrief listing of exhibits and exhibitors at the Royal Society's annual displays at Burlington House, London, with descriptive text. With a frontispiece plan of the learned societies' apartments in Burlington House, and a historical note on Burlington House. Arranged by rooms, Rooms 1-3 and named rooms. Commencing with a note on floral exhibits, courtesy of the Director of the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew, and that exhibits would be available throughout the opened rooms of the other Burlington House organisations. The catalogue of exhibits begins with a disclaimer: 'The descriptions of exhibits in this catalogue are supplied by the exhibitors, who alone are responsible for their accuracy'.

A stained glass window commissioned by the Royal Society to commemorate the Tercentenary, by William M. Gardiner and executed by the Whitefriars Stained Glass Studios.

The first Charter granted by King Charles II in 1662.
