Prints of these figures were published in volume 49 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society alongside the paper 'On the uterine villiform papillæ of pteroplatœa micrura, and their relation to the embryo, being natural history notes from H. M. Indian marine survey steamer ‘Investigator,’ Commander R. F. Hoskyn, R.N., Commanding. No. 22'.
