The last 300 miles were walked on a level track in the Victoria Hall; and frequent observations of the pedestrian’s pulse and respiration, &c., were made during six days by Mr Green, M R C S, acting under the instructions of a Committee, the active members of whom were Dr B W [Benjamin Ward] Richardson and Dr Ridge.
