Description | The title refers to South's paper authored with John Frederick William Herschel titled 'Re-examination of thirty-six double and triple stars, the distances and positions of which, as observed by Mr Herschel and Mr South, were published in the Philosophical Transactions for 1824', published in volume 116 of Philosophical Transactions. The accompanying calculations and results are found at PT/18/6. This further re-examination was not published.
