Description | Plate 18, figures 1-3 showing a sarcophagus and the mummy it contained, still wrapped in cerecloth and bandages. Figure 3 shows fragments of Egyptian characters imprinted on the mummy's bandages. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed in ink in bottom left corner, 'Drawn by Henry Perry, March 1822.' Royal Society stamp verso.
