Description | Plate 21a showing a chart of mean hourly observations from a standard barometer that was present in the hall of the Royal Society. Publication and plate details pasted at top of chart; verso of pasted portion reads 'Assistant Secretary.' Ink inscription below title at top of chart reads 'April 26 to July 13, 1831' and '(smaller) Classed in sets of 15 days each, and 5 Mean Days derived from such combination.' Ink inscriptions below chart read 'This will be the first of my plates; the 3 Barometers will be the second' and 'Then along for a folding plate'. Not signed. Watermarked 'B&T Sweetapple 1827'. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
