Description | Plate 17, figure 1 and three unpublished figures showing a muscular fibre with continuous striae. Only the figures marked B and C appear in the published plate. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Ink inscription at top reads 'A Fibre of Animal life, with continuous striae and tubular extremities' [corrected in pencil to 'extremity'] and 'B Do [Ditto] with interrupted striae, presenting a polygonal appearance. Magnified 600 times'. '600' is struck out in pencil and corrected to '400'. Not signed. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
