| Description | Transcription of a certificate dated 29 April 1730 and signed by Thomas Richardson, James Robinson, Richard Kerry, and John Watson. The horse was choking on corn; the farrier, Robert Rogers, put a hazelstick, which had a rag tied around the top, down the horse's throat to drive down the corn; the horse broke the stick and swallowed it; horse became lame in its shoulder after about 6 weeks and a length of 19 to 20 inches long was extracted through the horse's side
