The Harrie Massey Prize commemorates the pioneer of atomic collision theory of the same name. The prize was inaugurated in 1990, marking the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Australian Institute of Physics (AIP). Malone Gill Productions was associated with major television series, including 'The Ascent of Man' (with J Bronowski) and 'Cosmos' (with C Sagan).
