TitleReferee's report by Neil Kensington Adam, on a paper 'Spontaneous emulsification, and reactions overshooting equilibrium' by James William McBain and Ts-ming Woo
Date[June 1937]
DescriptionSectional Committee: Chemistry

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Suggests giving a clearer explanation of the term 'the molecular collision of diffusing columns'. The impression given by the authors is that they rediscovered the phenomena described, but was really discovered by Frederick George Donnan relatively recently and accepted as fact.
