TitleLetter from John Edward Lennard-Jones, on a paper 'Diffusion and chemical reaction velocity in cylindrical systems of physiological interest (with an appendix of spherical systems)' by Francis John Worsley Roughton, to David Brunt, secretary of the Royal Society
Date16 April 1952
DescriptionPaper reference code: A23

Lennard-Jones has looked through Roughton's but is hesitant to report on a paper by a colleague. Remarks the general method is correct though he has not checked the formulae in detail, and agrees with the first referee that the paper consists of 'heavy' mathematics for a paper dealing with biological processes, and this part could be published separately.

Written at The Chemical University Laboratory, Cambridge [England].

[Published in Proceedings B, 1952].
