The latter are largely on deaths of members and vacancies to be filled, but the quitting of Mr. Otley, landlord of the Crown and Anchor Tavern is noted; with the resignation of Sir Humphry Davy as chair [p.155] and the election of Davies Gilbert as President of the Royal Society [p.157]. |
