Each meeting has a list of attendees and guests, with accounts of the matters discussed or items exhibited, usually scientific in nature. There are occasional items of illustrative material, for example a letter by Sir Robert Robinson, 14 December 1944, enclosing a humerous typescript article by Robert Benchley. There are table plans showing the seating positions of those attending.
