DescriptionMinutes of ordinary meetings of the Royal Society Club, with pasted-in dining menus and other material. Each meeting has a list of attendees and guests, with accounts of the matters discussed or items exhibited, usually scientific in nature. There are occasional inserted items, including a poem, 'Apology for Science' by Dr A C Burton [23 April 1953]; and an extract of a letter from H R Marston, 25 February 1954, to David Christie Martin, giving an account of the Royal Charter being awarded to the Australian Academy of Science by Queen Elizabeth II. There are table plans showing the seating positions of those attending, signed by participants.
